Essay Review about Definition Essay

My entry for today will be about a review of my group's definition essay. Definition essay is to define something and it is more structured and more like a facts. We as a writer of the essay must assume that our reader doesn't know what are we talking about. So, this is our essay that had been checked and commented by our lecturer, Mr Adlan. Thank you, sir!
We did a lot of mistakes for this essay. We take a look about it once we received our essay. Our main problem is the word that we choose in the essay is not correct. Therefore we had a lot of mistakes regarding to the choice of words that we use. We need to enhance our vocabularies as we encountered with the problem of choosing our words. For example, can you see in the first paragraph, line 3, the words
'knows', it has COW on top of that word. It means that is our mistakes.
Since we have chosen the topic 'sarcasm', we find it is hard to elaborate and define this topic as it is abstract. Sir Adlan also said that our essay is more like to define the usage of sarcasm instead of define what sarcasm is about. Moreover, we need to read and follow up with world affairs to broaden our general knowledge. This is to ease the flow of our writing as it requires great amount of knowledge. Despite all the difficulties faced, I've noticed that it depends greatly on the topic.
In short, a definition essay is hard if the writer does not have sufficient knowledge to elaborate and really define the topic.
