Hello and anyeonghaseyo  ~ Cho neun Yaya imnida. LOL. speaking korean suddenly. Okay, for my fifth entry, it will be about a review of exemplification essay.





According to the course outline, we as TESL students will learn four genres of essay in College Writing I during our first semester. We were divided into groups and have come out with an exemplification essay. This type of essay is easier than definition essay as the objective of this essay is to give examples to the readers. As the readers have already understand the topic, the only thing left to do is to provide them with specific and clear examples. The difficulty in writing this type of essay is to refrain from providing too much examples. This is because too much examples will increase the amount of words that may reach up to 600 words. Some of the elaborations may be quite lengthy and are not necessary in the essay. Furthermore, we have learned that the safest way to do this essay is to follow the structure of the essay that Sir Adlan had taught us. This is why we only use eight sentences per paragraph. To conclude, this type of essay can be as easy as ABC since the writer needs to provide examples for the readers to give them a clearer view of the topic.
